Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Imaging Special Procedures Technologist to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, including cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer contrast media according to age/weight specific guidelines.
  • Set up sterile trays and maintain a sterile field, adhering to hospital protocol.
  • Scrub and assist interventional physicians during procedures.
  • Monitor and record hemodynamic measurements and readings from valve areas.
  • Start and maintain IV access.
  • Accurately follow physician orders and document completion of exams in Meditech.
Requirements
  • Current license or registry certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Current license or registry of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology and licensed through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Registered Radiologic Technologist [RT(R)].
  • BLS certification.
  • Completion of ACLS training within 6 months of hire.
  • Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, guests, physicians, and other employees.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Cath lab or EP lab experience, or new grad of RCIS program.
