Nursing Care Specialist

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Unity Health Care.
About the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment. As an LPN, you will be responsible for obtaining vital signs, performing routine nursing procedures, and conducting patient intake under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Collect vital signs and initial patient information.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Perform various nursing procedures, including phlebotomy and wound care.
- Administer vaccinations and educate patients on disease prevention.
- Participate in medical procedures, such as pelvic exams and surgical prep.
- Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and medications.
- Deliver patient education and support.
- Manage inventory and ensure proper supply levels.
- Prioritize education from an accredited school of practical nursing.
- Hold active licensure in Washington D.C.
- At least one year of experience in an ambulatory care setting.
This position demands strong communication skills, cultural competence, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
Estimated Salary:$68,000 - $88,000 per year
