As a Registered Nurse in our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides exceptional care to infants and children through age 17. Our unit is the most remote PICU in the country, and we serve a wide range of diagnoses, including respiratory issues, traumatic injuries, pediatric surgeries, neurological, endocrine, sepsis, gastrointestinal, renal, cardiac, and seizure disorders.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to infants and children in our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team, including pediatric trained critical care nurses, respiratory therapists, pediatric intensivists, dietitians, social workers, occupational and physical therapists, child life specialists, pharmacists, chaplains, and subspecialty physicians
- Participate in sedations and procedures for children who are outpatient, using a family-centered care approach
- Continuously educate and develop your skills through ongoing education and certification opportunities
- Full-time, night shift position with shift differential pay
- Five-time Magnet Designation for Nursing Excellence
- St. Luke's Children's Hospital, Idaho's only children's hospital, has been recognized for the first time as a Level 2 Pediatric Trauma care facility by the American College of Surgeons
- SLHS named one of the best hospitals for maternity care
- Education: Nursing Degree
- Experience: 1+ years of RN experience
- Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
