Our 10-week summer internship program is designed to bring your academic topics to life and prepare you for a potential full-time position after graduation. You'll work on projects that align with your interests and skills, and have the opportunity to collaborate with our talented team of engineers and developers. Requirements
  • Completed at least one year of college (Rising Sophomore)
  • Enrolled in an accredited engineering degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related technical degree
  • Maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale after completing full year of college
Desired Qualifications
  • Open to applicants legally authorized to work in the U.S., without the need for current or future work status authorization or visa sponsorship for employment
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong initiative with the ability to work independently and in teams
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership roles
  • Strong desire to learn and develop technically in engineering roles to supplement classroom learning
  • Ability to communicate technical aptitude, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication & interpersonal skills
  • Able to work for a minimum of 10 weeks (maximum of 12)
  • Willingness to take roles at one of our many Wabtec locations
Locations

Interns have the opportunity to work at one of our US sites. Possible sites may include Erie or Grove City, PA, Melbourne, FL, Atlanta, GA, Fort Worth, TX, Germantown, MD, or Cedar Rapids IA.
