Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Logistics Manager to become a vital part of our team in the manufacturing sector. This role is crucial to our operational success and requires a detail-oriented individual who excels in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will manage all facets of the logistics process, including shipping, freight, third-party logistics (3PL), purchase orders, demand forecasting, brokerage, delivery, material management, and production planning, utilizing Epicor software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and execute strategic initiatives to optimize logistics operations in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee shipping, freight, 3PL, and delivery processes to guarantee timely and efficient product distribution.
  • Manage the development and oversight of purchase orders, ensuring precision and promptness.
  • Lead demand forecasting efforts to accurately predict necessary inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with brokers to facilitate smooth and cost-effective transportation of goods.
  • Supervise material management to maintain optimal inventory levels and resource efficiency.
  • Direct production planning to ensure alignment with demand and logistics capabilities.
  • Employ Epicor software for logistics and production planning tasks.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with logistics service providers.
  • Regularly analyze logistics operations data to identify improvement opportunities and implement changes.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and standards.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in logistics management within the manufacturing sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in shipping, freight, 3PL, purchase orders, demand forecasting, brokerage, delivery, material management, and production planning.
  • Proficient in Epicor software.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a talent for team management and motivation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • In-depth knowledge of logistics and inventory management systems.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and the ability to implement them throughout the production process.
