Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Engagement with resident assessments and develop personalized care plans
  • Lead neuroplasticity programming, including Connect-Move-Learn cycles, muscular strength, aerobic, and flexibility training
  • Develop and implement social-recreational activities and outings, as well as volunteer program development and community resource coordination
  • Collaborate with staff to create a supportive and engaging environment for residents

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience in activities or recreation services
  • Certified Dementia Practitioner or eligible for certification
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a willingness to work in a hands-on role with residents and staff
  • Ability to drive a company vehicle and meet approved driver requirements
