Mercy is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated LPN Graduate Nurse Resident to join our Surgical 3B unit. As a nurse resident, you will have the opportunity to develop your critical nursing skills in a fast-paced medical surgical telemetry environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform head-to-toe assessments and telemetry monitoring
- Insert NG tubes, IVs, and CBI's, and manage chest tubes, trachs, and ostomies
- Provide wound care and manage drains
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
Requirements:
- Graduate of a State Board of Nursing approved Practical Nursing Program
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
