About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our data centers. This includes reviewing design documents, leading Factory Witness Testing (FWT), and managing third-party commissioning vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review design documents and ensure compliance with Amazon standards
  • Lead Factory Witness Testing (FWT) and manage third-party commissioning vendors
  • Develop and execute test procedures for mechanical and electrical systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or 5 years of relevant discipline work experience
  • High technical competency in mechanical or electrical systems, with the ability to learn and be trained in the others
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
  • Effective communication skills, detail-oriented, and highly organized
  • Ability to read and edit construction documents
