School Psychologist Job Description

Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to join our team in a full-time capacity. As a School Psychologist, you will be responsible for assessing referred students and making recommendations for appropriate school programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments of students to identify areas of need and develop strategies for intervention.
  • Collaboration with Teachers and Staff: Participate in Multi-Disciplinary Team and Child Study Team meetings to assist teachers and staff in developing plans to meet the needs of students.
  • Individualized Education Programs (IEPs): Attend IEP and other planning meetings to ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Group and Individual Therapy: Provide group and individual therapy sessions to students as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • License: ID Psychology License.
  • Experience: Previous experience in schools or pediatric offices preferred.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time, contract position with a standard work schedule of 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 37 hours per week.
