About the Role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled Dialysis RN to join our team in providing high-quality patient care in our hemodialysis units. As a Dialysis RN, you will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care to individuals with acute renal and chronic end-stage renal disease.

Responsibilities
  • Provides direct nursing care to patients undergoing hemodialysis, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and monitoring patient condition.
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care, including nephrology practitioners, technicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Administers medications, performs vascular access procedures, and conducts other tasks as required to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitors patient vital signs, laboratory results, and other data to identify potential complications and take appropriate action.
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize care delivery.
Requirements
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • At least one year of acute care experience, preferably in a hemodialysis or renal care setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
