QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one year experience in a healthcare registration setting
Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous
Proficient computer skills
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Exemplifies the core Customer Service Values essential for delivering exceptional service to patients and clients.
Reviews financial information of patients promptly and accurately before scheduled admissions and within one business day for unscheduled cases.
Identifies and confirms responsible third-party payers.Collects patient financial responsibilities and arranges payment plans in accordance with established policies.
Engages with third-party insurers to ascertain pre-certification or payment prerequisites and ensures compliance.
Facilitates follow-up for pending Medicaid cases and out-of-state patients in collaboration with vendors.
Addresses inquiries from walk-in clients regarding outstanding billing and collection matters.
Performs cashiering tasks.
Manages the return of valuables from secure storage.
