English Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified English teacher to join our team at Hertford County Public Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English language arts to students in grades [insert grade levels].

The English teacher will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and promotes social growth. The teacher will develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. The teacher will also assess student progress, provide feedback, and communicate with parents and colleagues to ensure student success.

• Develop and implement English language arts curriculum that aligns with state and national standards.
• Teach English language arts to students in grades [insert grade levels].

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• North Carolina State Certification as a Teacher.
• Experience teaching English language arts preferred.

The English teacher will work in a standard office and school building environment. The teacher will be required to travel to school district buildings and professional meetings as needed.
