About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Southern Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and providing exceptional support to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to mothers and newborns during the antepartum and postpartum periods.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices and technologies.
Qualifications
  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
  • BLS certification within 30 days and maintain current.
  • ACLS certification within 90 days and maintain current.
  • NRP certification within 90 days and maintain current.
  • Basic Fetal monitoring within 60 days of hire and maintain current.
  • AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate within 12 months.
  • AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certificate preferred.
