About Helio Health

Helio Health, a leading provider of behavioral healthcare services in Central New York, is seeking a skilled Residential Specialist to join our team on a Full-Time basis at our Genesee St/SRO location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document files accurately and professionally to meet NYS and Federal licensing requirements.
  • Manage Electronic Medical Records with precision.
  • Maintain confidentiality of case records and patient information according to HIPAA regulations.
  • Engage residents and their significant others in program planning and progress assessments.
  • Assist in teaching Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills to residents.
  • Collaborate in creating service plans for residents with the supervisor, senior specialists, and collateral contacts.
  • Supervise daily medication administration to ensure residents take prescribed medications as directed.
  • Maintain the program site's cleanliness and property by removing debris/snow from sidewalks and addressing minor maintenance issues.
  • Conduct random room/property searches as directed.
Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate's Degree in Human Services is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in a mental health setting and/or working with individuals abusing and/or addicted to alcohol and/or drugs is desired.
  • A valid NYS Driver's License is necessary.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $17.30-$19.23 per hour, based on education level and relevant experience. As a full-time employee, you will be eligible for a Sign-On incentive up to $1,500. Our comprehensive benefits package is designed to support your well-being and career growth.
