Explore the Fascinating Realm of Anatomy and Physiology
Embark on an exciting exploration of the human body in our Anatomy and Physiology camp. Participants will engage in hands-on laboratory experiences that delve into various body systems, promoting a comprehensive understanding of human biology.
Target Audience: This program is designed for aspiring healthcare professionals and young learners with a strong interest in health sciences, suitable for late-elementary to early middle school students. Experience an engaging introduction to anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology through interactive dissection and exploration.
- Participate in investigative activities centered on the digestive system and its functions.
- Examine the skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems, understanding their interconnections in maintaining bodily functions.
- Engage in comparative anatomy studies, exploring the relationships between various bodily systems.
- Investigate the nervous system's complexities through sensory perception experiments.
- Learn the basics of microscopy, observing bodily systems at the cellular level.
Additionally, participants will create unique Anatomy Doll Models, integrating concepts learned from each system while adding personal creativity. The week will culminate in a student showcase, allowing family and friends to celebrate the learning journey.

Are you an enthusiastic educator with a passion for hands-on learning? Education Unlimited seeks dedicated instructors to contribute to our dynamic summer programs. Competitive compensation, including travel, accommodation, and meals, is available for qualified candidates.
In-Person Teaching Responsibilities:
Instructors will deliver the Education Unlimited curriculum, supervise campers during activities, conduct interactive laboratory sessions, and coordinate a final student showcase. Responsibilities also include monitoring student progress and submitting necessary documentation to the camp director.
In addition to teaching, instructors will work alongside the camp director in overseeing recreational activities and fulfilling administrative tasks. A supportive and collaborative attitude is essential for mentoring students and assisting fellow staff members. Ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants is a top priority throughout all activities.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates typically have a background in science education, are pursuing advanced studies in the field, or possess significant teaching experience in anatomy or related subjects.
- At least 2 years of demonstrated experience teaching anatomy or neuroanatomy, or substantial knowledge in the field.
- Experience working with elementary or middle school students in an educational environment.
- A bachelor's degree is required; advanced degrees are preferred.
