Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our Ambulatory Care team. As a key member of our team, you will operate radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic x-ray films as directed by care providers and perform routine diagnostic procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Position patients and adjust equipment for taking x-rays, following established procedures.
- FOLLOW prescribed safety standards in operating radiologic equipment.
- Instruct patients regarding procedures.
- Examine radiologic film for properties such as density and contrast, definition, magnification, and distortion.
- Develop and process radiologic film.
- Deliver film to requester for reading/interpretation.
- Maintain x-ray exam room.
- Stock necessary medical and radiological supplies.
- Clean and make minor adjustments to radiologic equipment.
- Responsible for routine maintenance and vendor notification of failures.
- Responsible for dissemination of x-ray reports and x-rays, maintaining a location log.
- Schedule radiologic exams to be performed at outside labs, as necessary.
- Gather and prepare x-rays with physician interpretation for radiologist over read.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree: Completion of accredited radiology program or diploma program thru AnMed Health.
- Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: SCRQSA, RSQA (RAD QUALITY STANDARD), ARRT certification for Radiology.
- New graduates must obtain and submit Permanent SCRQSA license within 30 days of passing ARRT registry. May work with temporary B SCRQSA license for 30 days.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year physician practice experience preferred.
