Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Control Supervisor to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a Material Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the Material Control team in managing multiple stock rooms and warehouses, and controlling all material movement throughout the site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide status of hardware and materials
  • Monitor material for timely release to factory
  • Maintain and monitor all Production Planning and Control (PP&C) metrics
  • Aid in meeting all scheduled deliveries
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
  • Related experience in material handling, control systems, and Enterprise Resource (ERP) systems, preferably SAP
  • Lean manufacturing training and/or experience in a production environment
  • Position can/may require overtime, extended shifts, and the possibility of working on holidays
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of/and experience with OSHA
  • (APICS) Certification
  • Previous leadership experience in production environment
  • Knowledge of industry-wide best practices and processes for managing material flow throughout the entire production supply chain
  • Previous experience managing a represented workforce
  • Preferred disciplines such as Production Operations Management and Supply Chain Management
