We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's Surgical Hospital. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe and accurate delivery of surgical services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care
- Implement and evaluate care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
- Assist with anesthesia induction and prepare patients for local anesthesia
- Accurately document and report patient care
- Demonstrate competency in all surgical specialties and equipment
- Participate in staff and self-development
- 1 year of Registered Nurse experience in the Operating Room
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - preferred
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification - per SDH policy
St. David's Surgical Hospital is a destination surgical facility located in north Austin, Texas. We are part of St. David's HealthCare, one of the largest healthcare systems in Texas and the third-largest employer in the Austin area. Our hospital features 40 inpatient rooms, several operating suites, pre-op and PACU bays, and an intensive care unit (ICU).
