Job Summary

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the Center Director in the daily management of our Donor Center, ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Collaborate with the Center Director to develop and implement strategies to achieve center operations, donor flow, and donor retention goals.
    • Oversee the maintenance of all supply, equipment, and product inventories.
    • Monitor and evaluate center operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans as needed.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, local, state, and company regulations related to quality of product, employee, and donor safety.
    • Manage financial oversight at the center, including budgeting, financial reporting, and cash management.
    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring sufficient operating supplies and equipment are available.
    • Partner with corporate facilities to ensure center compliance at all times.
  • Employee Development
    • Assist in leading and managing Donor Center personnel.
    • Support the Center Director in personnel functions, including recruitment, training, development, and disciplinary action.
    • Develop employee talent through regular meetings, goal check-ins, and development plans.
    • Ensure all employees are accurately trained in technical areas.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Biological Science, Business Administration, Nursing, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in plasma or whole blood or equivalent experience in a clinical or general business setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to travel by plane and/or car on occasion.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, pull, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Auditory and visual acuity.
  • Ability to work day and evening hours, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as needed.
