The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the Human Resources department at Centrica Care Navigators. This position is responsible for building professional relationships with passive candidates and organizations to create an ongoing pipeline of quality candidates. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills.
The estimated salary for this position is $62,000 - $82,000 per year, depending on experience. Located in Michigan, this role requires frequent travel within the assigned territory for recruitment activities.
About the Job
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and logging all personnel requisition forms, reviewing forms for accuracy, and posting vacant agency positions internally and externally. This individual will also coordinate job advertisements, update the employment section on the Internet, and work with the Marketing Specialist to promote open positions through social media.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will assist in developing and monitoring the recruitment budget, evaluate new posting/recruitment partners, and develop and maintain relationships with other recruiting sources such as colleges and schools. This individual will also attend and participate in job fairs and recruiting sessions.
Key qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of one to three years' previous experience with recruitment, applicant tracking, and hiring processes is strongly preferred. PHR (Professional Human Resources) or SHRM-CP certification is also desired.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, the Talent Acquisition Specialist must possess strong interpersonal communication skills with a high emphasis on customer service. This individual should be extremely well organized, able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple assignments simultaneously. A high level of accuracy in all work performed is essential, as well as the ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
A valid Michigan driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required for frequent travel within the assigned territory. The successful candidate will also be expected to remain up-to-date on all routine immunizations required by LARA and agency policy.
