Key Responsibilities- Routine Maintenance Tasks: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks to ensure our properties remain attractive, safe, and in quality condition.
- Inventory Management: Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to maintain accurate inventories of supplies, tools, and equipment needed for maintenance and repairs.
- Property Inspections: Inspect and maintain the property, buildings, and equipment to ensure they meet company standards.
- Unit Make-Readies: Assist in organizing, prioritizing, and completing unit make-readies, service requests, and general maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
- Electrical Repairs: Replace electrical switches, fixtures, and motors.
- Plumbing Repairs: Repair or replace plumbing and fixtures.
- Exterior Repairs: Replace broken windowpanes and screens, and repair or replace locks.
- Appliance Repairs: Repair and replace appliance parts.
- General Repairs: Repair walls, woodwork, and doors, and perform groundskeeping tasks.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: One year of maintenance experience in property management or a related field.
- Availability: Ability to be available on-call 24 hours, seven days a week.
- License: Valid driver's license.
- Soft Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks effectively, and possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
