Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate expertise in all areas of automotive repair and maintenance.
- Execute tasks outlined in repair orders efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment to test components and systems.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate directly with service advisors to keep customers informed about additional services needed.
- Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain shop tools and equipment, ensuring they are returned after use.
Qualifications:
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean and undamaged.
- Capable of reading and understanding written instructions and information.
- Quick problem identification skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, repair techniques, and service specifications.
- Proficient in operating diagnostic equipment and computers.
