Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Master Fabricator to join our team at Astec Industries in Audubon. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing surfaces or components, laying out, positioning, fitting, tacking, welding, and finishing parts or products following established methods and specifications.

Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 per year

About the Role

Our ideal candidate will have experience with forklifts, overhead cranes, and rigging, as well as the ability to read, analyze, and interpret detailed drawings. If you're looking to expand your skills in welding/fabrication or are an experienced welder tired of seeing the same plans, we offer variety and opportunities for growth.

Work Schedule

The Day Shift hours are Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm, and Friday 6:00am-2:30pm. You'll work in a safe and team-oriented environment where you're empowered to make suggestions for operational and sustainability enhancements.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Preferred but not required
  • Forklift, Overhead Crane, and Rigging Experience: Required
  • Welding Test: Must pass a welding test
