Job Summary:

The Dishwasher is a vital member of our kitchen team at Village Market, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our food preparation areas. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our guests by properly washing and cleaning all tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload and load the dish machine, ensuring it is clean and functional at all times.
  • Bag and haul trash to the dumpster at designated times, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Store linens in designated areas, adhering to proper storage and usage of cleaning supplies.
  • Execute proper rotation of food items to minimize waste and adhere to "First in First out" principles.
  • Perform closing duties, including closing the kitchen properly and following the closing checklist for kitchen stations.

Requirements:

  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Ability to load, run, and unload the dish machine.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to work with team members, team leaders, and store leadership.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and climb ladders, with a maximum unassisted lift of 67 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation:
Starting between $10/hr - $11/h
