Healthcare Appeals Specialist

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Healthcare, Nursing, or Business. A minimum of 3 years of experience initiating appeals with Managed Care or Commercial Payors for reimbursement is required. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding systems (ICD-9, ICD-10), and managed care guidelines is also essential.
The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, eligible staff receive an attractive benefit package, including medical, dental, vision benefits, and paid holidays.
