Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Utility Vegetation Auditor to join our team at ACRT, Inc. As a key member of our vegetation management team, you will be responsible for identifying, inspecting, and evaluating trees and brush along utility lines. Your expertise will help us ensure the safe and efficient operation of our clients' utility infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of trees and brush along utility lines to identify potential hazards
  • Submit detailed inspection reports to clients with recommendations for vegetation management
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of assigned tree clearance crews
  • Discuss and negotiate line-clearance crew access issues with clients and stakeholders
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, tree crews, and client customers
Requirements
  • Two or four-year degree in forestry, environmental science, natural resources, or related field
  • Previous vegetation management experience preferred
  • Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience working with GIS-integrated data collection software/hardware preferred but not required
  • Self-motivated, organized, and production-oriented individual
  • Ability to work independently and manage a geographical area for all vegetation-related activities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Multi-tasking and strong time management skills
  • Ability to work in varied terrain and inclement weather with flexible schedules
  • Valid driver's license required
  • ISA Arborist certification preferred
