Job Summary

Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. is seeking an Independent Optometrist to lease space inside our Walmart stores. As an independent lease holder, you will have the autonomy to establish your own practice, set your own schedule, and control your patient flow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide eye and vision care services to patients
  • Establish and maintain a professional relationship with patients
  • Manage patient schedules and flow
  • Set and manage your own fees
  • Have access to equipment and instrumentation for a fair market value
  • Option to opt into administrative and/or Opt-Tech support services (if state allows)
Requirements
  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school
  • Valid state optometry license
  • Ophthalmologist (MD or DO) from an accredited school (optional)
  • Valid state ophthalmology license (optional)
  • General Liability Certificate
  • Professional Liability Insurance Certificate
  • W-9
