Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Capital Medical Center. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering external beam radiation therapy to patients in accordance with physician and physicist instructions.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately and safely deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients
- Monitor patients for unusual physical and psychological reactions, and report any observations to the Clinical Nurse Specialist and/or Radiation Oncology physician
- Maintain daily treatment schedules and work collaboratively with the physician, physics staff, and front office staff for scheduling treatment times, simulations, and diagnostic studies
- Graduate of an accredited Radiation Technology program and board eligible, with registration to sit for the next board exam
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiation Therapy and certified as a Radiation Therapist by the State of Washington
- AIDS certification for healthcare workers and CPR certification
