Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Assessment
    • Evaluate students referred to physical therapy to identify their physical therapy needs.
    • Utilize standardized tests and observations to assess cognitive-perceptual motor skills, muscle strength, and other relevant factors.
  • Treatment and Intervention
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to maintain or improve motor functioning and cognitive skills.
    • Conduct home visits to evaluate students in their natural environment.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
    • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Administrative Responsibilities
    • Schedule students for evaluation and treatment sessions.
    • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive records of student progress.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
    • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Arkansas.
