Position Overview

The primary focus of this role is to manage the daily processes related to nominations, confirmations, allocations, and imbalances for specific interstate and intrastate pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with shippers and interconnecting pipelines to handle nominations, modifications, and confirmations.
  • Ensure that confirmed nominations are accurately recorded in the system for each cycle.
  • Engage with shippers, interconnecting pipelines, and gas control to effectively reduce imbalances.
  • Compile final scheduled volumes for use by Operations Control, partners, clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Verify that final monthly totals for nominations and allocated volumes align with those of interconnecting pipelines.
  • Prepare timely and precise month-end close reports for areas of responsibility.
  • Foster positive relationships with the shipper community.
  • Monitor interconnecting pipeline IPWSs for the issuance of OFOs and relay information to shippers and Operations Control.
  • Ensure all scheduled volumes remain within operational limits.
  • Collaborate closely with schedulers and Business Systems personnel on testing for system improvements, configurations, and transitions.
  • Be flexible with rotating hours to meet customer requirements and ensure adequate staffing for all NAESB/FERC nomination cycles.
  • Provide on-call and backup support on a rotating basis to maintain scheduling coverage during nights and weekends.
  • Adapt work hours as necessary in response to project launches or emergency situations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Work Environment

  • Office-based role.
  • Expected travel of approximately 10-20%.
  • Hybrid remote work arrangement.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Gas Scheduling or a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry terminology.
  • Familiarity with Pipeline Tariffs, pipeline regulations, and NAESB/FERC guidelines is essential.
  • Understanding of IPWSs of major interstate and intrastate pipelines in relation to scheduling and confirming gas.
  • Experience with the Quorum application is advantageous (QPTM/TIPS).
  • Exceptional customer service skills, as this role serves as the primary point of contact for the customer community.
