Responsibilities
In this leadership role, you will:
- Oversee unit staffing and provide guidance to ensure the delivery of exceptional clinical care.
- Assign and supervise nursing and support staff during shifts, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Evaluate daily patient care requirements and allocate assignments accordingly, ensuring adherence to productivity standards.
- Address patient care concerns through established protocols.
- Ensure the availability of necessary materials and resources for optimal patient care.
- Prioritize tasks based on patient and physician needs.
- Contribute to the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of nursing staff.
Qualifications
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Registered Nurse credential from the Texas Board of Nursing required prior to hire.
Education:
- Professional licensure/certification and a minimum of one year of relevant experience required.
