Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lumber Yard Associate to join our team at Gillman Home Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating equipment, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate equipment, including forklifts and trucks, to transport materials and supplies.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking materials, and performing cycle counts.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment and vehicles.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Forklift experience a plus.
