Christus Health seeks a skilled Respiratory Therapist - Polysomnography and Respiratory Care Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to administer respiratory care and diagnostic procedures in our Sleep Lab. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer respiratory care and diagnostic procedures as assigned by the Department Manager or supervisor
  • Perform polysomnograms, including setup, calibration, and interpretation of data
  • Monitor patients during sleep studies and respond to any adverse events
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Preferred: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
