Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our HVAC/R team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our facility's refrigeration and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Utilize commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Inspect, operate, and test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
  • Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Environmental Protection Agency regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • 5 years' experience in commercial HVAC/Refrigeration maintenance.
  • Previous rack refrigeration experience.
  • Vocational or Technical HVAC/R certification and 6 months' experience, OR 2 years total work experience, in commercial refrigeration, mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls or related field.
  • Type I and Type II EPA certification.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to move up and down ladders frequently.
  • Comfortable working at heights frequently.
