We are seeking a highly skilled Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our team at Highmark Health. As a Perioperative Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care within the perioperative arena.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the use of supplies, instrumentation, and equipment for pre and intraoperative care, ensuring that equipment is functioning properly.
- Perform circulating functions, including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition, and managing overall nursing care of the patient before, during, and after procedure.
- Act as a patient advocate and document preoperative and intraoperative care delivered in compliance with hospital, departmental, and regulatory agencies.
- Monitor the surgical environment to ensure that aseptic technique is followed by the surgical team.
- Current RN PA licensure in good standing or PA TPP.
- Preferred: OR experience.
