About the Role:

Our Women’s Health Clinical Service Line is seeking an experienced OB/GYN Hospitalist to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care for Obstetrical patients in a hospital setting.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care management.
  • Provide backup support and surgical assistance to staff Obstetricians as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Cover GYN concerns out of the Emergency Department and basic gynecologic surgery skills are required.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral/Ph.D. level advanced degree in Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or foreign equivalent from an approved medical program.
  • Completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited Residency training program in OB/GYN.
  • Licensed Physician - MN Board of Medical Practice.
  • BLS Tier 3 - Multisource.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
  • Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate.
  • Prescription Monitoring Program.
  • National Provider Identifier.
