Dishwasher Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a dishwasher at the Carbon County Steakhouse. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dinner shifts.

The ideal candidate will be committed to showing up on time, having a helpful attitude, getting along well with other kitchen employees, and following all sanitary and health-related protocols. This position may be a great stepping stone for those looking to advance to a Kitchen Manager or Prep Cook role.

• Operate an industrial dishwasher safely and efficiently
• Wash various kitchen items by hand when necessary
• Utilize strength and stamina to lift loads and empty/clean all trash receptacles
• Manage the placement of all kitchen items and dishes in a highly organized manner
• Commit to all-around cleanliness, including dishwashing and dish storage areas
• Follow sanitation and safety policies at all times
• Assist the prep cook and other staff as needed
• Perform daily duties, such as opening, closing, and side work
• Utilize basic janitorial skills to clean up spills and broken glassware immediately
