Cambridge Health Alliance is seeking a skilled Emergency Department Technician to join our team. As a key member of our emergency care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide phlebotomy services and perform point-of-care testing
- Assist registered nurses with patient care and administrative tasks
- Answer phones and respond to patient and family inquiries
- Work collaboratively with the emergency department team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certificate of completion of a certified nursing assistant program in Massachusetts or medical assistant diploma
- Current American Heart Association/American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification required
- One year phlebotomy experience preferred
