Nurse Manager of Congenital Heart ICU

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Cardiovascular ICU team at Medical City Dallas. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring high-quality patient care, and driving excellence in patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
- Collaborate with physicians, other departments, and stakeholders to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operations.
- Monitor and analyze patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
- Manage budgets, resources, and personnel to ensure effective department operations.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
- Advanced degree, preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years management experience to include management of personnel, payroll, budgets, capital, business planning, marketing, supervisory positions, and physician relations, preferred.
