Multisystemic Therapist

Genesee Health System (GHS) is seeking a highly skilled Multisystemic Therapist to join our dynamic clinical team. As a Multisystemic Therapist, you will work with children and adolescents in therapy sessions, crisis intervention, and disposition, adhering to the principles and practices of MST for Center for Children's Integrated Services-Specialty Therapeutic Services.

• Perform professional therapeutic functions for children and adolescents in therapy sessions, crisis intervention, and disposition.
• Work under the direction of the Multisystemic Therapy Supervisor.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client strengths and challenges.

• Masters in Social Work and Michigan Master Level Social Worker (LMSW) credential, Clinical.
• Or, a Master's degree in a human service field (defined as Counseling/Guidance or Psychology), with a Master Level Social Worker (LMSW) credential and three years of clinical experience in the treatment of mental health/antisocial behaviors in youth.
• Or, a Master's in Psychology and Michigan Limited License Psychologist (LLP) credential.
• Or, a Master's in Counseling and Michigan License Professional Counselor (LPC) credential.

• Knowledge of family systems theory, social ecological theory, behavior therapies, and cognitive behavioral therapy and their applications.
• Must retain DCH qualifications as a Child Mental Health Professional.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and holidays.
• Must have a valid Michigan driver's license, current automobile insurance, and use of a vehicle during working hours.
