Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at Genie Healthcare. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including acute care, senior care, and behavioral health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments and interventions.
  • Conduct physical examinations and assess patients' health needs.
  • Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients.
  • Assist in acute pain management and support patients with chronic pain conditions.
  • Provide care for patients with dementia and other behavioral health issues.
  • Perform basic procedures such as suturing and cardiac catheterization under supervision.
  • Support senior care initiatives by providing compassionate assistance with daily living activities.
  • Collaborate with registered nurses and physicians to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
  • Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
  • Strong knowledge of infection control practices and procedures.
  • Experience or training in acute pain management, behavioral health, and senior care is preferred.
  • Proficiency in performing physical examinations and basic nursing procedures.
  • Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility as needed.
  • Familiarity with sonography techniques is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
