Cell Biologist

We are seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a cytotechnologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all services are delivered in accordance with our mission statement and SPIRIT values.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and screening all cytologic specimens, assisting on fine needle procedures, and interpreting findings under the direction of a pathologist. You will follow laboratory policies and procedures in accordance with all regulatory agency requirements, including CAP, JCAHO, OSHA, and CLIA.

You will determine whether test results meet the requirements of our quality control program and take necessary actions to ensure accuracy. Additionally, you will utilize critical thinking skills and complex problem-solving to resolve clinical and instrument issues.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Cytology, or a related chemical science field
• 2-4 years of experience in a related field
• Board registration or certification as a specialist in Cytology by a recognized credentialing board

The estimated salary for this role is $36-$45 per hour, based on location and experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
