Big Bend Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled and dedicated Traveling Registered Nurse to join our Obstetrics team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Antepartum, Intrapartum, and Postpartum Care
- Utilize the Nursing Process to deliver safe and effective care to patients in the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases of Obstetrical care.
- Lead and Collaborate with Healthcare Team
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care.
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and stay up-to-date on the latest medical research and best practices.
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available.
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
- Meet Schedule and On-Call Requirements
- Work a 36-hour week with days off as scheduled.
- Be available for on-call shifts as required, with rare instances of being put on call.
- Be prepared to float to Med/Surg if no patients are in OB and there is a need in M/S.
- Certifications and Licenses
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ALS (Advanced Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
