Radiology Technologist

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiology Tech to perform diagnostic radiographic, CT scan, mammography, bone density, ultrasound, or special procedures according to department protocols. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with customers and staff.

• Perform diagnostic radiographic, CT scan, mammography, bone density, ultrasound, or special procedures according to department protocols.
• Function as the first line interface with customers and be successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs.
• Participate in PI/QC activities.
• Assist in maintaining performance improvement programs.
• Oversee radiology area and/or staff in manager/director absence.
• Maintain department supplies.
• Promote teamwork and good customer service.
• Do scheduling for assigned sub-departments and maintain supplies and equipment for assigned sub-departments.
• Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by state.
• National certifications in two modalities (X-Ray and CT) or a Tech I with option to get CT certification within one year of hire to transition to a Tech II.
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT or ABHES.
