Masis Professional Group, a renowned consulting firm, is seeking a seasoned Content Strategist to spearhead employee-related communications from their Westborough, MA office. This contract position offers a minimum of 6 months with potential for long-term growth and conversion to a permanent role for the right candidate.

As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with various departments to craft compelling content that promotes the company's brand internally. Your expertise in writing, editing, and reviewing will be essential in ensuring accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of the content published on the company intranet and communications platform.

The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic thinking skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and a proven track record of creating engaging content. With a salary range of $75,000-$100,000 commensurate with experience, this opportunity offers a competitive compensation package.

Job Description:

  • Create, edit, review, and oversee content for the company intranet and communications platform.
  • Analyze performance metrics and oversee the publication of news stories, while leading the Internal Communications (IC) team in the creation of engaging content.
  • Manage and develop opportunities for the Internal Communications team.
  • Develop creative content projects from concept through completion, as outlined by the Director of Communications and key internal stakeholders.
  • Write, edit, and review content for internal leadership announcements, emails, newsletters, presentations, talking points, and video scripts.
  • Support day-to-day communication needs of various departments, including Retail Operations, HR, IT, Marketing, Facilities, etc.
  • Collaborate with the leadership support team to create video concepts and scripts.
  • Act as a brand ambassador and change leader by developing strategic communication plans that effectively engage stakeholders and drive organizational transformation.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in the Communications field, preferably 5-8 years.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Confident writer and editor with knowledge and understanding of communication best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to navigate communication challenges.

  • Creative thinking, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.
