Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Vehicle Service Expert to join our team in New York. As a Senior Level Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks and trailers.



Responsibilities:

">

• Perform routine vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire work
• Diagnose complex mechanical problems using diagnostic computer tools and repair or replace parts as needed
• Complete detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
• Interact with customers and drivers to determine the nature of complaints and provide solutions
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and meet customer expectations

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in diesel vehicle maintenance and repair
• Valid CDL Class A license (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• Strong knowledge of computer skills, including PC, Windows, and mouse navigation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
