The Director of Nursing will oversee the delivery of exceptional patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing departmental goals, leading clinical activities, and managing staff. Your expertise in nursing administration and passion for patient-centered care will drive our team's success.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement departmental goals and objectives aligned with medical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements
• Direct clinical activities, including patient assessment, care plan development, and service level determination
• Plan, organize, and direct all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, and continuing education initiatives
• Prepare and monitor budgets and ensure that assigned nursing areas operate within allocated funds
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing required
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required; Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred
• 5 years of experience in nursing administration required; 10 years of experience preferred
• 2 years of leadership or management experience required; 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred
