We are currently in search of a skilled Nurse Case Manager who is passionate about assisting injured workers and managing worker's compensation cases. This role encompasses the Chicago, IL area, including northwestern Indiana. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the medical case management of work-related injuries, which involves assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of care for injured or disabled individuals. The Case Manager will collaborate with insurance providers, healthcare professionals, legal representatives, employers, and employees, while closely monitoring the recovery progress of the injured worker and providing updates to relevant parties. This position is primarily remote, with local travel required to visit healthcare facilities and other necessary locations.

- Current, unrestricted registered nurse (RN) license in Illinois and Indiana (can be obtained upon hire).
- Preferred experience in catastrophic case management related to worker's compensation, which may include:
- Critical care, catastrophic injury/illness management, and/or disability management.
- Clinical experience in areas such as acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple trauma, and burns.
- Recommended certifications (CCM, CRRN, CDMS, CRC) are advantageous; candidates should be willing to obtain certification within two years if not currently certified.
- Ability to occasionally work outside of standard business hours to meet claim needs.
- Essential skills include organization, adherence to timelines, proficiency with technology, and strong communication abilities (written, verbal, and interpersonal).
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
