We are seeking an experienced Full Time Weekend Registered Nurse to provide support to our Hospice patients in Roanoke, VA.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position working weekends as part of a multidisciplinary team under the general direction of the Director of Nursing or the Hospice Administrator. The successful candidate will provide care and support to patients and their families to maximize comfort and health.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to identify patient needs and ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide supportive care in accordance with attending physician orders, including on-call rotation as needed.
- A minimum of one-year experience in direct patient care.
- Hospice nursing experience is strongly preferred.
- Reliable transportation and company-required auto liability insurance.
The salary for this role is estimated at $$94,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
