Seasonal Progressive Care Registered Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Heart Hospital of Austin as a Seasonal Progressive Care Registered Nurse. About the Role

As a Seasonal Progressive Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to patients with complex medical conditions. You will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized plans of care, ensuring the safe and accurate delivery of care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments, develop plans of care, and implement and evaluate care.
  • Coordinate and supervise patient care as necessary.
  • Formulate individualized plans of care and revise plans based on patient response to treatment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac monitoring and identify dysrhythmias, treating appropriately based on protocol.
  • Perform head-to-toe assessments on all patients per policy.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – preferred
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
